Summer Day Camp

Get ready for a summer full of adventure, learning, and fun at the YMCA Summer Day Camp! Designed for children who have completed grades K5-5, our camp offers exciting weekly themes, engaging activities, and special guest visitors to make each day unforgettable.

Flexible Attendance: Attend one or more weeks!
Healthy Meals Provided: Breakfast, lunch, and snacks served daily at no additional cost.
Field Trips & Special Guests: Educational field trips TBA and exciting guest visitors will include: Erie Foam Darts, Virosek’s Backyard Bee Farm, Friends of Drake Well, Allegheny Creek Outfitters, 4H & more!

3 days per week or less: $105

2025 Summer Weekly Themes

Week 1 – June 9-13 School’s Out for Summer

Kick off the season at the Y with exciting outdoor games, water play, and creative activities that celebrate the start of an amazing summer!

Week 2 – June 16-20 Mission: Outer Space

Blast off into a week of building rockets, creating glowing galaxy art, and discovering planets and stars! This week will be an out-of-this-world experience!

Week 3 – June 23-27 STEM-tastic Week

Get ready for a hands-on, minds-on week filled with science, technology, engineering, and math fun! This week is all about discovery and innovation!

Week 4 – June 30-July3 USA Stars & Stripes Week

Celebrate the USA with a week full of patriotic fun, red, white, and blue crafts, and all-American games in honor of Independence Day!

Week 5 – July 7-11 High Tides & Good Vibes

Soak up the sun and dive into beach-themed fun with a week full of water play, tropical treats, and ocean-inspired adventures! Catch a wave, dude!

Week 6 – July 14-18 Bugtastic Adventures

Get ready to creep, crawl, and fly into a world of insects with hands-on bug hunts, exciting science experiments, and creative buggy crafts.

Week 7 – July 21-25 Wild Wonders: Animal World

It’s a jungle out there! Embark on an exciting adventure into the animal kingdom with paws-on activities. Explore species, unique habitats, and the wild wonders of nature!

Week 8 – July 28-August 1 Color Craze

Why is the sky blue? Dive into a rainbow of creativity as we mix, paint, and explore the magic and science of color, light, and prisms!

Week 9 – August 4-8 Movie Magic

Hollywood comes to the Y! Lights, camera, action! A star-studded week of movie fun where we become the actors, directors, and designers of our own cinematic creations!
